Day 49 - 52

Well my Adobe CS5 trial expired so back to editing with PSE 8 :( I think I'm just gonna splurge with our tax money and get CS5 since I already miss it.

Day 49 - February 18,2011
My first two knifty knitter hats. They are not so great I hope I get better the more I make them.

Day 50 - February 19, 2011
We went to the park, it was sunny but chilly! Marcus' nose and cheeks were really red by the time we left.


Day 51 - February 20, 2011
We went to my grandmas house for a family get together. My dad bought him this toy for xmas but it wasn't working so he got a new one for him. You're supposed to put the cars in the thing and they spin around... well Marcus wanted to try to spin around so this is how he plays with it. lol



Day 52- February 21, 2011
Took photos for my DH's work buddy. I wanted to do more backgrounds but they were 30 mins late and their DS had enough, so I cut it short. But now I'm thinking maybe they are going to think I have no variety. I'll have to let them know when I send and email if they ever wanted to do more portraits I have all these other options.

It was free so whatever... but I was all proud of my photos and then uploading them they all look really orange. He's a darker skinned boy but not that dark. It was really late so no natural light at all, which probably contributed to the WB problems. Editing these are going to be a Pain.

I quick edited this one just to post on the blog but the colors still look off. He looks a little too green. But who knows since I'm not calibrated.

I'm so sad... I actually completely spaced it and forgot to take a picture. About 9pm I was thinking oh I better go take a picture of something. I was thinking my knifty knitter hats but then I forgot :( My first day I missed.

It looks like he has pin lights but really it's just bad catch lights, still love this picture though.

So the crazy thing about this picture is how sharp it is. Marcus likes to look at the picture in the view finder and say baby. So I was just holding the camera out and away from me to take his picture since he was too close to me for me to take it the normal way. They usually end up blurry as I can't see where the focus red box is but I was blown away that I somehow got this picture so clear.

100 percent crop of the eye to #1 see how clear and #2 you can see I'm holding the camera away from my face and with one hand.


Day 48 - February 17, 2011
Marcus got 5 shots today. Two in one leg, one in the other and a shot in each arm. Poor baby. He was long overdue for his 1 year shots though.

I got some other cute bath pictures with his hands in the water but the reflection on the little cap thing you can barely see his junk so since this is a public blog I'm not going to be posting those.

It's pretty sad that Marcus knows how to hold a playstation controller :/

Oops... I fell really behind on my blog. I've been really sick lately. All weekend I didn't even sign online. Hopefully I'll start feeling better and be back on track with my blogging.

Marcus coloring for the first time. I gave him a pen to sign his great grandmas valentines day card this morning and he cried when I took the pen away so I bought some crayons after work today and he colored for a bit before dinner. He loves it!

Cool thing is I found an action to resize and sharpen for web. I never used to do this because when I tried it looked overly sharpened.

For Example...

I should make them smaller to show them side by side. Oh well maybe tomorrow. I really can see a difference and love the new action.

Day 30

My mom never lets me take pictures of her... she thinks she always looks awful. But sadly she has cancer and a bad kind at that so I was thinking the other day I don't have many pictures with her and Marcus yet Marcus sees her the most out of anyone besides me and my husband. So I'm going to start taking pictures of her and him whether she likes it or not.

Someone needs to dust. Sad thing is she has a cleaning lady, who I've used before and my one complaint is she doesn't dust well at all...obviously.

It's pretty sad my 13 month old knows what to do with a phone. It's so cute he puts it up to his ear backwards says hello and then talks jibberish.
